Blisgòn are the traditional pumpkin tortelli of the Casalasco area (the Southern part of Cremona province). Its thin pasta holds a soft filling where Mantuan pumpkin and Cremonese Mostarda perfectly match with amaretto biscuits and nutmegs. Usually, Blisgòn are served with butter and sage but many believe that their taste intensifies when tomato sauce is used. The special Committee instituted in 2010 to date back to the original recipe acknowledged the Blisgòn as a typical product of Casalmaggiore.
